Dear Miss Grace,

I am sorry that I hit you. But maybe you can tell because of my self-portrait that I drew for you that I am just a regular kid and that I didn’t mean to hit you. My big sister has red hair like you but I don’t really like girls. I like to go looking for bugs. My favorite flavor of ice cream is pink strawberry and I have a book of pictures by a lady that shows a boy holding a grenade. Thank you for the art lesson.
