My dear Buddie, we very often drive past this Marble Arch – it is just near Hyde Park. The king is the only person who is allowed to drive through it, everybody else has to go round. I have just turned this round & discovered it is not Marble Arch at all but the Triumphal Arch in Paris, built by Napoleon after some of his victories! We had the most glorious day today – two motor loads drove out to Hampton Court, but to our great disgust found when we got there that on account of these mad suffragettes the place was closed.
