One Picture/One Paragraph : Saint Lucy

This post-op x-ray, photographed against the window in my apartment.

It was that summer that everyone was putting yellow ribbons around trees.

Rumors have it, that there where more than portraits being taken down there.

I photographed how superintendents decorate the basements of apartment buildings.

How I describe it? Ruin, but still beautiful with the spirit.

Imagine me trapped inside my own traitorous, disintegrating body.
